 George Cervantes created Men Empowering Men Everyday (MEME) with a passion to ensure that all men have access to resources and support in their times of crisis, a mission that is informed by both his over decade long of experience working in the mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disabilities fields through various positions as well as his personal experiences. MEME works to help men understand and overcome the biases they may face while navigating the mental health care, criminal justice, and family courts systems. With a dedication to providing every man with the gift of presence and support in difficult time, George hopes to spark a revolution of masculinity influencers who talk about the issues men face and encourager one another to take action. MEME is committed to impact his community and pave the way to something bigger for an influx of footwork and sincerity in the men's mental health movement.
